I am currently Assistant Professor at the Università degli Studi di Padova, Italy. From 2014 to mid 2017, I was a Research Scientist at Yahoo Research in London, UK. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from Università Ca’ Foscari di Venezia, Italy in 2011.
My main research interests are: web search, machine learning, and computational advertising. On these topics, I have authored around 30 papers on topmost international journals and conferences, including ACM TOIS, ACM TWEB, ACM KDD, ACM WSDM, and WWW. I have also authored 4 US patents.
I am actively participating as PC member of many impactful IEEE and ACM conferences.
